CHC Interim Board of Directors

The five member interim board of directors will transition to a 9-member board in accordance with CHC’s By-Laws.

Steven J. Healy, Interim President:
Steve is a retired executive of a rural electric cooperative. He brings over 35 years of cooperative experience to CHC. He is active in numerous organizations in west central Wisconsin, including the Pierce County Economic Development Corporation (past president), St. Croix Valley Angel Network (president), Wisconsin Rural Enterprise Fund (board of directors), Momentum West (board of directors), and the 2010 Farm Technology Days.

Darcie Paradies, Director:
Darcie resides in rural New Richmond, Wisconsin and brings small business experience to the CHC board. Darcie has over 15 years of experience as a successful business owner and entrepreneur. She owns three (3) Fantastic Sam’s hair salons in Hudson, River Falls, and New Richmond and is a certified business coach. In 2007, she founded Being Unreasonable, Inc., which coaches successful business leaders to make their own businesses extraordinary. Services include business coaching, employee assessments, group workshops, leadership retreats, and keynote speaking.

Myron Schuster, Director:
Myron is the executive director of the Northwest Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (NWRPC). Based in Spooner, Wisconsin, NWRPC serves the counties of Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Iron, Price, Rush, Taylor, and Washburn. NWRPC advises local units of government on the planning and delivery of public services to the citizens of northwest Wisconsin. Regional planning commissions provide a way to address problems that transcend local government boundaries and offer joint solutions for intergovernmental cooperation.

Andrew Lisak, Director:
Andy serves as the executive director of a non-profit, county-wide economic development organization known as The Development Association, Inc. Based in Superior, Wisconsin, The Development Association delivers economic development services to the City of Superior and Douglas County in northwest Wisconsin. Reflective activities include business retention, business expansion, business recruitment, new business start-ups, and small business advocacy, including legislative advocacy. He is a past president of the Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA), Wisconsin’s statewide economic development group.
